01
Saudi mobile number (SIM)
A Saudi mobile number is the anchor for every government platform. Verification codes for Absher and Nafath are sent to it, so it must be registered in the buyer's own name.
- Registered in your own name — not a relative's or an agent's
- Keep the number active for the life of the ownership application
02
Border Number or Iqama
Non-residents are identified by the Border Number issued on entry to the Kingdom; residents use their Iqama number. This is the identifier every subsequent registration keys off.
- Border Number appears on your entry stamp or visa record
- Passport name spelling must match across every document
03
Absher account
Absher is the Ministry of Interior's citizen and visitor services platform. It carries identity verification, and its individual account is required to authenticate on other government services.
- Register with your Border Number or Iqama plus Saudi mobile number
- Confirm your email and enable two-step verification
04
Nafath digital identity
Nafath is the single sign-on and digital identity layer for Saudi government platforms. Once linked to Absher, it approves logins and signatures on your phone.
- Install Nafath and link it to your Absher identity
- Login approvals expire quickly — keep the app to hand during applications
05
Banking and payment channel
Purchase funds must move through approved channels. Depending on your profile this is a Saudi account or a documented international transfer routed to the developer's escrow account.
- Source-of-funds documentation prepared before reservation
- Off-plan payments go to the Wafi escrow account, never to a personal account
06
Saudi Properties portal registration
REGA's Saudi Properties portal is the official platform where eligible non-Saudi buyers verify eligibility, submit an ownership application and track approval — completed entirely online from abroad.
- Nafath authentication is required to open the portal profile
- Attested documents are uploaded once and reused per application
